I came across Etsy last year while looking for some unique things for my baby shower. I love birds and cherry blossoms and found some great stuff there.
Etsy is a website where you can sell and buy things handmade. You’ll find things like art, cards, jewelry, purses, and much more.

Most of you know that I love decorating and making things (especially cards). So in December, I created an account to start selling my stuff. I will start taking pictures of cards I’ve made and chocolates of course.

So I will update you when I’ve posted them.

For those of you that want to switch to natural cleaners, Clorox has come out with a line of natural cleaners including toilet bowl cleaner, all purpose cleaner, and glass cleaner.

I recently purchased the all purpose cleaner for $3.29 at Publix.
Much cheaper than Seventh Generation and Method.

So look for it next time you go grocery shopping.

I love Boon!

Boon is innovations for modern parents.

We recently got this product called Flo. It’s awesome. Even though Emmy will bathe in the large tub a long time from now, when we fill her baby bath tub with water, it shoots directly into it. Not all over the place, and we’re able to save water!

This week we’re getting Squirt. Squirt is a self-contained feeding spoon where you load up the bulb/handle with baby food, and then one squeeze “squirts” out food. No more reloading from the jar. Now that Emmy will start solids, she will be using this spoon.

We’re also getting Potty Bench. It serves as a potty bench, a step stool, and a bench for when I take Emmy a bath.

This spring they are coming out with a layette line which I’m super excited about.

Mark your calendars for February!

Target is teaming up with Dwell Studio to bring you a line of modern home and nursery decor.

The nursery line will include cribs, bedding, lamps, rugs and will be available at Target on January 28th.

The home line will include bedding, kitchen, pillows and will be available at Target at the end of February.

How exciting…Can’t wait!!

I was online searching for a modern crib for Emmy and I came across this set from Walmart!! I don’t like Walmart but I’m impressed. I thought Target would come out with something like this before Walmart….

So I decided to create my own blog because after about 1 year and a half of Michael bothering me to read Sex God by Rob Bell, I finally picked it up about 2 weeks ago. And my gosh, I just started reading and I’ve learned sooo much.

I basically created this so my close friends can read what I’m learning and be encouraged to read themselves.
