God and children
I was inspired to write this post after reading the Abella’s family blog. For those of you that don’t follow them, here’s their latest post:
What would happen if…….christian parents stopped expecting the church to be fully responsible for the spiritual training of our kids and actually took up the challenge to teach this generation. I [...]

More on Vaccines
So last night I was doing some more research on natural living, holistic moms and vaccinations. Though Michael and I are convinced and set on NOT vaccinating our daughters, I like to read recent news and studies on them. I came across this group on facebook Vaccines: A license to kill and read some interesting facts. [...]

Gentler Cesarean
I recently saw this post on Pushed Birth and thought it was pretty cool. Though I don’t agree with the way America pushes and resorts to cesareans for anything, I think it’s great the British are trying to make this a positive outcome for mothers by allowing them to be a part of the birth. [...]

Attachment Parenting
A while back, I was researching on natural parenting and I came across this parenting style. Attachment Parenting. And the more I read about it, I realized that not knowing, Michael and I were practicing this style of parenting. While we do everything on the “list” but one, I hope to do it all with [...]

Our case with Vaccines
Moving to Cape Coral has been eye opening in many ways. I’ve learned a lot living here. And one way has been through mothers.
Living in Miami while I was pregnant, and now living here has made me realize that doctors don’t educate you enough. It’s “ok” to end up having a c-section. It’s “ok” to [...]

BPA Concern
As a new mother, reading things like this really scares me.
This week we finally switched to BPA free bottles. I’m still waiting for Dr. Brown’s BPA free bottles to hit the stores. But for now, Evenflo will do.
For those that don’t know what BPA is, read along.
What is Bisphenol A?
Bisphenol A is [...]

things that change…
I came across this article in Baby Center (one of my fav websites) called:
“Thirty things that change when you have a baby!”
What changes when you have a baby? A better question may be: What doesn’t change? Here, writer and mom Rebecca Woolf lists her most notable post-baby observations. And some from readers.
Here are my personal [...]

But I Want Drugs
I have been reading a lot about natural births. And though you friends know that we want to get pregnant again in the summer (june, july) it’s never too early to prepare. Once again.
So I have been talking to Michael and this time, I have decided to have a water birth. Natural. No drugs. No [...]

Ugly Dolls
My favorite new thing for Emmy are these Ugly Dolls!
We’ve been starting to organize her play room and Michael will soon paint it (can’t wait) And I’ve been looking for different things to decorate the room with. One of course will be Trofast from Ikea to put all her toys in. And these Ugly Dolls, [...]
