I can NOT believe that almost two years ago, Emery was born. I can’t. Feels like just the other day I was in South Miami Hospital giving birth to her. Crazy! But anyway, her second birthday is just around the corner and I’ve started one of my favorite things to do. Party Planning!
You all know I love decorating and planning events and I really enjoy doing themes. Like for my baby shower while prego with Emmy…the theme was “nesting” with cherry blossoms and birds everywhere. I always said I would never do a character themed birthday for my children. And yet, here I am, trying to decide whether to do a “Nemo” themed birthday, or a “Dora” themed birthday. Geez…if it was up to me, I would do some cute owl or fairy theme. But I can’t deny Emmy that fun and the excitement she displays with these two characters.
So now I have to choose between these two: The explorer. Or the orange fish. I’m leaning toward one more than the other. But …

well she screams really loud for both. With Dora a bit more…but she doesn’t watch a full episode. On the other hand, she watches most of the movie Finding Nemo, and has lines memorized. lol….

lol where are you going to get a Nemo costume? I know Byran will volunteer off the back with out even asking so go ahead and get that costume lol, nothing like sweaty Bryan in a hot costume on a summer day.

We’re doing her party here, in Estero park, on the 27th of Sept. (her actual birth day)
But we’re trying to decide whether or not to do one in Miami as well…
